The main Chiropractic technique we use at Elevate is, SOT (Sacro Occipital Technique). It is aptly named because of the relationship between the sacrum (base of the spine) and the occiput (base of the skull). This technique is a comprehensive, gentle and innovative method used to reduce interference in the nervous system. It enables your body to achieve clearer communication between the brain and the body and back again, so it can function normally.



We use wedges, which we call blocks, to help realign the pelvis in a gentle way and use a spring-loaded instrument called an activator to deliver a gentle impulse force to the spine. This low force adjusting style is particularly helpful in adjusting pregnant women, babies, children and the elderly. Some of our Chiropractors do use a manual technique called Diversified, if the client prefers.
